Prior to founding SolutionsMTD, David was the Group Development Director at Computacenter plc, with full responsibility for the development and management of Computacenter’s services and solutions portfolio across the group. Prior to this David was the Enterprise Solutions Director with responsibility for development of partnerships and driving the company’s high level consulting revenue.
Previously to Computacenter, David spent 8 years at Northgate Information Solutions Plc where he was the Director of Strategy and Marketing. Previous roles included Director of Product Strategy and Head of Core Technology.
David is a one of the Founders and Chief Executive Mydex a Community Interest Company focusing on delivering the future ecosystem of identity and personal data services including person centred consent management. David is the Chief Architect of the Mydex Platform a public services trust platform.
David is a Fellow of the RSA, a member and active supporter of Electronic Frontier Foundation and the Open Rights Group and is passionate about protecting individuals’ privacy and personal data and its associated rights.
David is on the Governance committee of the Personal Data Ecosystem Consortium and is a Non-Executive Director of tScheme, the independent, industry-led, self-regulatory scheme set up to create strict assessment criteria, against which it will approve Trust Services in the UK.
David has an extensive background in software architecture design and engineering coupled with proposition development, innovation and commercial management.
David lives in Hertfordshire with his wife, young son, and family dog. David is active member of his local community as Treasurer of community-owned and run shop and post office stores, and as a Group Scout Leader.
